Korea to face France, Canada and Nigeria in U-20 Women's World Cup

Friday saw the draw for the Women's Under 20 World Cup to be hosted in Cosa Rica this summer. As South Korea in Group C where drawn with Canada, Nigeria and France. Meanwhile, Japan will play the Netherlands, Ghana and the USA. 

The U-20 Women's World Cup will kick off in Costa Rica in August. This will feature 16 teams divided into four groups with the top two countries from each group advancing to the quarter-finals.

Korea achieved their best performance in the 2010 tournament as they finished third. France, one of the sides in the Koreans group finished runners-up in 2016 and placed 4th in 2018. 

South Korea will play their first match against Canada on 11 August, followed by Nigeria on the 14th and France on the 17th. 

Elsewhere Japan will start the tournament on the same day against the Netherlands, they will then face Ghana on the 14th and the USA on the 17th.
