After the latest round of fixtures in Asia, the fresh FIFA rankings were announced with the Korean national side rising four places from 33rd to 29th. At times it's been difficult under Bento but things are looking to be on the rise again.

The rise up the rankings come as results have improved, this was seen with friendly wins over Iceland and Moldova in matches held during a training camp in Turkey, meanwhile wins in qualifiers against both Lebanon and Syria, sealed an early place at this year's World Cup.

With the World Cup drawing based on rankings, it is important that the Koreans keep up the keep form as they look set to be drawn in pot 3 in April. Elsewhere Iran rose to 21st in the world with Japan climbing three places to 23rd.
