Slavia Prague stand with Wuhan

Slavia Prague decided to stand in solidarity with Wuhan before their game against SFC Opava on Saturday. 

Slavia Prague show support for Wuhan and China

Slavia Prague came out for their match against SFC Opava in shirts displaying the message 'stay strong Wuhan' on Saturday. The communication was scrawled across their red t-shirts. They also had a banner which had the identical message in Mandarin as well as English.

We want to express, in our own way, our solidarity with our Chinese friends at this difficult time.

Jaroslav Tvrdik, the chairman of the club was quoted as saying they want to express their solidarity in their own way.

They will additionally be selling stay strong Wuhan special shirts to, in order to raise money to support the effort to fight the Coronavirus by sending medical supplies and the necessary equipment to the epicentre of the outbreak.
