Kubo scores in Spain

The much talked about Japanese youngster Takefusa Kubo got off the mark in Spain over the weekend. It was witnessed as he scored his sides third in a 3-1 home win over Villareal.

Kubo gets the goal

Since Kubo joined on loan from Real Madrid he has slowly been impressing, while he may have only started two matches his performances have still caught the eye of onlookers.

He has displayed some great footwork and vision since arriving in Spain, all these talents were the reasons he returned to Europe from FC Tokyo.

All of this came to a head over the weekend and the 18-year-old finally got that goal that his displays deserved. His first La Liga goal came in style, just as you would expect from the boy with magical feet.

This goal came as Kubo found himself with all the space in the world after picking up a loose ball in the middle of the park.

It took just the one touch to then steady himself before he drilled the ball low in the corner of the net past Sergio Asenjo's outstretched hand.

I guess this is just the type of play you would expect from a player on loan from Real Madrid and this shows that he is in the correct company plying his trade in Spain.
