Korea youngsters to play at 2019 Dubai Cup

South Koreas Under-23 side led by Kim Hak-bum will head to the UAE next month to take part in the Dubai Cup. 


A mini-tournament 

The youngsters will take part in the six-country competition along with Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, UAE, Iraq and Uzbekistan.

The set up will see each side playing four matches with the winner being awarded to the side with the most wins over the four games. This will see Korea playing four of the five other sides taking part with no match against Uzbekistan.

The nation will play against Saudi Arabia on Wednesday 13th November followed with a match with Bahrain on the Friday. They then take on Iraq on the 17th November followed by a game with UAE  in their final match two days later.

All the matches will kick-off at 20.45 Korean time with the head coach commenting

“All participating teams have decided to participate in the AFC Championship finals, and we have a chance to try to play competitively, I will use it as an opportunity to inspect my side. ”
