Ryotaro Meshino the 21-year-old midfielder who moved to Manchester City this summer from Gamba Osaka looks to be heading out on loan. The news comes with the Hearts manager Craig Levein confirmed the move was near complete.

A great prospect

As the attacking midfielder moved to England the future for the young lad looks bright. Having broken into the Osaka first team last season he as impressed. In fact, he impressed so much that Manchester City decided to make a move for him in August.

In England, a lot of clubs will buy young players to then send them out on loan in the hope that will improve enough to push on. Just recently we have seen Manchester City youth players be sold on to big clubs. It shows then that even if Meshino does not make it in Manchester, he could still be a big hit in Europe.

His first chance to show what he can do looks to be with a move on loan to Hearts of Midlothian. The Edinburgh club plays in the Scottish top flight and clearly see his attacking play as a critical element to their side.

The move is not yet confirmed, but the player has already attended a match at Tynecastle Park with all parties looking keen to get the move sorted. That was seen with the Hearts boss saying this on the new potential signing.

He'll excite not just our fans but fans of other clubs as well, he's an attacking player. He can play anywhere along the front line, is very good on the half turn, very technical, has got good speed and dribbling ability. He just likes to run with the ball and take people on and that's what people like to watch. I'm hugely excited about this one, he is an extremely talented boy.
