That unnamed Chinese club is at it again

In the English media this week we found out that famous club 'unnamed Chinese Club' was after another English Premier League star. The rumour is this unnamed club have offered £35 million for West Ham's forward Marko Arnautovic. This bid it was reported was rejected but you expect this was an attempt to gain interest in the player.

Will the player move to China?

The news that a club in China made a bid of £35 million could just be agent talk to get intrest in the player up but the stories have been all over the English press. The attacker is under contract till 2022 at London club West Ham so the team will be in no hurry to sell. Who the bid came from in China is unclear but you would imagine it's from one of the big CSL clubs.

Transfer news on the 29-year-old Austrian who signed for West Ham from Stoke for £20 million in the summer of 2017 is not a huge surprise though. As it's been heavily reported that both Manchester United and Chelsea have been keeping tabs on the player. Although interest in Manchester might have lessened with the departure of Jose Mourinho.

In any case the bid was rejected and with the tough transfer rules in China am unsure a club in the CSL will be willing to bid much more for the player.
