Fellaini leaves England after 11 years
The lumbering midfielder will leave England after 11 years in the country with Everton and then Manchester United. He was never a fan favourite with Manchester United fans but he did, however, step in and do what was asked of him under three managers.
The writing was on the wall for his time in Manchester however with the appointment of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. This was seen with the player picking up only 28 minutes under the Norwegian and this was when the team was freshened up for the FA Cup.
Am sure fans of Everton and Manchester United would be able to recall good and bad memories of the player. What is for sure however is that he will always give his all and if he shows this commitment with Shandong Luneng he is sure to be a hit in the CSL.
It's reported the move comes with a very good payday for the player too as am sure you would expect. This is seen at the transfer is worth in the region of £7 million while the player is also due to sign a contract worth £9.5 million a year.
Then for those wishing to see the player in action he is likely to make his competitive debut in a Champions League qualifier on the 18th February against a qualifier yet to be decided.
