Stefan Mugoša of Incheon United in the K League 1 has been selected for his country Montenegro as they start their Nation League campaign. The first two matches will take place in September with a trip away to Romania and then home to Lithuania.
Mugoša joined the Korean side this year from Moldovian champions Sheriff Tiraspol and they played has had a career based in Europe before his move to Incheon. Although his call-up is not a big surprise as the 26-year-old forward as 20 caps and three goals to his name for his country.
He will be one of only two players within the squad playing outside of Europe. The other is the defender Marko Simić who plays in Uzbekistan with Pakhtakor Tashkent.
