Thiago Martins last week moved to the J League as he joined Yokohama F. Marinos. The player signed on a loan deal till the end of the season from the Brazilian side Palmeiras.

The player is a 23-year-old Brazilian centre-half and will join up with his new club right away. The player has been with his club since joining as a youth player in 2013. He has managed to play 50 games for his club while also spending time on loan at Paysandu and Bahia.
This will be his first time out of Brazil however and is sure to be a cultured experience for the youngster.
The player despite his young age has also won two league titles in Brazil the first coming in 2013 when his club won the Brazilian Série B. The side then went one better in 2016 when they won the Brazilian Série A.
The defender on joining told the Yokohama F. Marinos official website "I am very pleased that I have got this opportunity and I am excited to wear the Yokohama F·Marinos shirt and play in front of the fans, I think that my build-up play and one-on-one duels are the best parts of my game. I would like to score a goal as well. I am very happy to join F. Marinos and I will do my utmost to achieve the goals of the team."
