It was announced this week that Mongolia will play a friendly game against Singapore on the 12th October 2018. The match will take place at the Bishan Stadium in Singapore.
This will be Mongolia's first match since they lost 2-0 at home to Mauritius in March 2018. This will be good for the national side to test themselves against a country ranked 17 places above them.
For a country that is unable to arrange a lot of fixtures, this is a great opportunity for them. If they were then to win this match it would be their first victory since November 2016 when they beat Sri Lanka 2-0.
The national side is desperate to improve their football culture as is seen with the building of all-weather pitches in the country in recent years. Then with all the Mongolian team playing in their own country a game away in Singapore will be a great way for them to test themselves.
