While Kim Jong-un has been busy meeting world leaders, Moon Jae-in the South Korean president is heading to Russia. While the main reason for his visit is to meet with Vladimir Putin he will also take in the South Korea match with Mexico in Rostov on Saturday.
With their president watching on the South Korean players you will hope will be given some extra confidence. As let's be honest they need all the help they can get after their lacklustre display against Sweden.
Choi Young-il, South Korean Football Association (KFA) Vice President said on the matter "To support the national team players, Moon will wear a red shirt," Choi added. "Regardless of the match result, Moon will meet with the national team players and have a pep talk with them."
It looks then like his whole team who will be joining him including ports minister Do Jong-when and South Korean Ambassador to Russia Woo Yoon-keun will also wear red.
This will be a great camera opportunity for all and it is hoped that his presence at the match will have a positive impact on the players.
