A quick google search will not bring you much information on Lee Kang-in but the 17-year-old in fact could be the next big named player to play for South Korea. This season the midfielder is playing his trade for Valencia B and so far has played 11 times scoring once.
The player is an exciting talent even at such a young age. As it was reported that the first team coach Marcellino was impressed by his passion and attitude to training.
This seems to go along with the fact that in the Spanish media it was reported this week that Valencia has started negotiations to offer the promising youngster a new deal.
Currently, Valencia does not have the financial backing to bring in quality players so instead, they have to nurture their best prospects. It is thought that Lee Kang-in is one of their brightest young talents at present so the club will be desperate to keep hold of him.
The player's current contract expires at the end of June next year with the star having a €8 million buyout clause.
As a new contract will be great for both parties it will also raise the player's value as a buyout clause will be certain to rise.
Lee Kang-in is clearly looking to stay with Valencia as he said to local radio 'Ondashoriga' "I want to be a part of the team and I want to be in the side." it is thought a deal should be announced in the next few weeks and for sure Lee Kang-in is a player to look out for in the future.
