Ki leaves Swansea

Ki Sung-yueng of Swansea City announced this weekend he will be leaving the relegated side this summer.

The 29-year-old midfielder announced on Instagram over the weekend. This was announced as a host of Swansea City players announced their departures since it was known they would no longer be a Premier League side.

Ki joined Swansea from Celtic in August 2012 for a then club record fee of around £6m. He went on to make 160 appearances for the club in that time and won the League Cup back in 2013.

Where is next for Ki is unsure, as he enjoys life in the UK I would it would not surprise me if he stays on the island. Right now, however, Ki will turn his attention to the national side and after a disappointing season will hope to perform well in Russia with South Korea.
